Francophile ( It's a good thing)

Look what just came in the mail. Isn't it just the cutest throw pillow? Of course it's much cuter than in the pic. Most of you know by now that I am a francophile (no thats not a bad thing) its a person that has a strong interest or admiration for anything french. I love the food ,the history the culture. My great grandparents were from France so I guess thats where my interest began, learning a little about them and knowing I have a smigion of french in me.Well back to the pillow I love anything fleur de lis and the french bees on this fabric. The napoleon bee's may have started another collection, have a blessed and wonderful day.....Barb

Neat pillow! I love things French also. I named my daughter Jolie Renee and my husband's grandmother was born in France and lived there until WWI. I was close to France, but didn't get to go there. I hope my granddaughter gets to. She loves French things too.

After marrying a frenchman I bought everything with an Eiffel Tower on it, named our cat Eiffel and sort of over did it with the french stuff. I'm now giving away so much.

I do, however, love the French bee and things from Provence, where he is from. We hope to live there part time after we retire, God willing.

Enjoy your blog Barb - thanks for your visits!!
