Denial (Not the river in Egypt)

I have been denying all day today that I'm getting a cold, well how's that working for me? Not very well, made a trip to Wal-Mart I now have advil,airborne ( a friend swears by it) and nightime cold medication in my system oh and tissue with lotion. I went to a flea market today that I have not been to in forever and now I remember why everything was way overpriced. Anyhow I have some cheap picture frames that I am going to try and glitter and jazz up for my girl's valentines gifts, I found some cute silver dove stickers in the Martha Stewart wedding stuff that I am going to hot glue on them also.If they turn out cute I'll show ya'll a pic of them.Have a blessed night and to my vapor rub dreams.....Barb

Jace pretending to drive gigi's car.This was in the garage after I took him out of his car seat and getting some trash out of my car. We now know where the horn is and how many times it can be honked in about 45 seconds.

Francophile ( It's a good thing)

Look what just came in the mail. Isn't it just the cutest throw pillow? Of course it's much cuter than in the pic. Most of you know by now that I am a francophile (no thats not a bad thing) its a person that has a strong interest or admiration for anything french. I love the food ,the history the culture. My great grandparents were from France so I guess thats where my interest began, learning a little about them and knowing I have a smigion of french in me.Well back to the pillow I love anything fleur de lis and the french bees on this fabric.The napoleon bee's may have started another collection, have a blessed and wonderful day.....Barb

Freezing Rain

This is what's happening in Arkansas right now, some parts of the state have ice storm warnings. The central part of the state where I live is under a winter weather advisory and a freezing rain advisory. The bridges and overpasses are icing over and alot of accidents. My husband and daughter are both trying to get home as traffic on the interstate is moving very slow. Yeah the garage door just opened so one of them is home. A Little Bit Of Sunshine

This is what I bought this week-end to put a smile on my face and to remind me of sunshine and warmer days. I have a bouquet sitting on my coffee table that reminds me of spring as my fireplace is going and I have been cold all day for some reason. We did manage to clean out the garage this week-end and I am done with painting the living room trim. I just took Jace home to mommy he wanted to spend one more night with papaw and gigi but I have to work tomorrow and I have to brag he can count to ten in spanish how cute is that?Have a blessed day....Barb
