Hey everyone things have been really crazy around here, I noticed the morning of the lightening strike that I was hearing a faint hiss in one of the bathrooms and then I noticed water around the tub well a water pipe in the wall ruptured so we have been dealing with the ins. company plummers, water damage company and a contractor. Tomorrow the plummers are going to have to jackhammer a part of the floor and tear out a part of the wall, the water damage company has already started spraying anti mold spray and their fans and other equipment to dry things out. They seem pretty sure the bathtub will be taken out and replaced and depending on the damage in the wall maybe the vanity also. We have had no hot water so its been very quick cold showers I am trying to keep my sense of humor during all of this and not get to stressed out. (Trying) Just wanted you all to know why I have and may not be posting much, have a blessed day....Barb

Lightening Strike

This morning at 3:33 a.m. we jumped out of bed to one of the loudest sounds I've ever heard and it was also like the sun was out when lightening hit this tree right outside our bedroom. We couldn't see the damage until around 6:00 a.m. when it was light the first and second photos show the piece of wood that impaled our siding and made a hole in the bedroom wall, there was dirt and pieces of wood everywhere. The insurance adj. has been by this afternoon we need a new garage door, some siding replaced and painted the hole in our bedroom repaired and painted the tree will be removed because it will die and a little gutter work. My husband for some reason left his suv out last night and it has a dent to be repaired but we were suprised it didn't have anymore damage since it was sitting by the tree. I am very thankful we didn't have anymore damage than we had and we are safe, also I am happy to report my facial pain is going away thanks for all the prayers....Barb

Miami Biscayne Bay

This is a view from the 17th floor from Marriot Biscayne Bay. If I could have this view everyday what a treat that would be. I went to the endodontist this week and he seems to think my pain maybe from a sinus infection then I had an appointment with the ENT and she thinks maybe my nerves on the left side of my face are irritated from the root canal and sinus problems she has me on a strong antibiotic and a steroid pack if that doesn't work in a month then she will get some xrays. Please say a prayer for me that this pain goes away soon, it's made me feel sorry for people that live with a chronic pain.
