Today at oncologist they did lab work and they scheduled my mom's PET scan for thursday morning, the doctor said it would be sometime next week before he would be ready to see her again and have a diagnosis....Barb

Appointment

My mom's oncologist appointment is tomorrow, please keep us in your thoughts and prayers....Barb

Some of my photo's from my recent trip to Belize City, the bridge is the swing bridge the only functioning manually operated bridge still in existence, the photo with the sailboats is called pier city and the Fort George lighthouse. I love,love,love history and our tour guide while we were there was a very educated young man named Dale and was a wealth of knowledge on the history of Belize City. I will share some more pics of Belize very soon....Barb

Just a few more pics from Roatan, the Garifuna music was a treat to hear and watch the dancers. We saw lots of Iguana's and at one time I had about 10 or 12 around my feet which kinda freaked me out!...Barb

Snowbabies!

Today it has been snowing off and on all day, school was closed so the boys came over and we went outside for a little while. Gage was so bundled up in his snowsuit he couldn't move and Jace was making snow angels afterwards we came in and had warm chocolate chip cookies,I ate one too many but I'll work it off at the gym tomorrow....Barb

What I Know!

My mom has breast cancer, it's called squamous cell carcinoma breast cancer and has some lymph node involvement. This is a rare type of breast cancer and is usually a type of skin cancer, she has an appointment with the oncologist Feb.22nd and then they will do a PET scan to see if it has spread any where else in the body, so at this point not sure how good or bad it is. She is in denial about all her health issues right now so it's very rough to try and talk to her now and other family members that don't want to help but are quick to point out criticism. Sorry, but that felt good to say that!...Barb
