This Week

Well it's been a long week around here, it's been very hot which makes it very hard to spend much time outdoors which has shortened my outdoor exercise routine. Coming home from work and not have Mittens greet me has been hard and I still find myself calling and looking for her so I guess that will take a while to get use too. My mom has had an ok week she has been able to do some things around her house which makes her feel better, Rachel had a wreck and I am thankful God was watching out for her and the baby because it could have been very bad. Her SUV was towed to the autobody shop last night so she's waiting to see how much damage was done. Jace and I went to see Toy Story 3 today and he loved it and in a while I am going over to Rachel's house so we can start getting the baby's room ready.Lauren started a new job at a hair salon about 3 weeks ago and is loving it and building up her client base....Barb

My sweet Mittens!

My sweet cat Mittens died today, she got really sick today and we took her to the emergency vet and there was nothing they could do she was 16 years old and her organs had shut down. She had her pink blanket and lots of kisses from us before she went,our sweet Princess Mitonia is now chasing butterflies in heaven and I have cried all afternoon but I know she's resting in peace....Barb

Last Game

Little man's last TBall game was today,he's really going to miss it this summer but we are kinda glad until fall because our summers here are very hot and humid and today was no exception.

Today I went and had lunch with Lauren, and we went to community bakery as always it was yummy and they have the most wonderful pastries and desserts....Barb

Soon To Be

Rachel has decided on the color's for Gage's room, brown and blue. We found the crib bedding above on ebay and I am helping her plan the nursery around it. The bedroom that will be his room is painted brown already, and we have an old chest that I am going to redo to store his clothes in. I have painted an art piece for his room since I did one for Jace's room, they are whimsical and inspired from art that was out of Rachel's budget.I'll post more on his room later when we put up the crib and decorating....Barb

Summertime

I always know it's summertime when these start blooming, last fall I spread the seeds to start these in different spots in my yard because they can stand the heat we have here in the summertime.
