Look whats blooming in central Arkansas, Forsythia.Everywhere you look the past few days you see this early spring bloomer, the only thing I hate is the blooms are short lived. We had one in our yard when I was a child and it was huge, I could crawl under it and play because in the heat it was a cool spot to play and my brothers couldn't find me and torment me as brothers tend to do. It's funny now because my youngest brother is one of my best friends.Hope you all had a blessed day....Barb

I am ready for flowers! I took pictures outside today with my camera and everything is still so BLAH
I love forsythia. It is blooming around here also. Course our weather is about the same as yours too. The tulip trees were blooming all around here last week. They are gorgeous, but like the forsythia bush, very short lived.
Thanks for visiting me and for leaving birthday wishes...very sweet of you! (And, leaving comments is the best way to have visitors.)
How I envy the forsythia blooming in your corner. It'll bloom here in April...maybe. I love those yellow blooms and have an entire row of them.
Loving the yellow! Spring is just around the corner.
Have a great day Barb!
Forsythia always blooms here in middle March. I bet you didn't knwo that it is the official flower of Brooklyn, NY!?
i am all gaga when it comes to flowers.. this is lovely.
There are lots of blooms in my garden that only last for a day too, glorious ones.. but so short-lived.
Sounds a little like human achievement/ glory, isn't it?

Beautiful...I have to wait another 6 weeks, I think, before I see my beautiful forsythia...but I sure enjoyed seeing yours!
These are wonderful blooms. Thank you for sharing with us in the North. It will be a few more weeks before we can enjoy these blooms in our garden.
Warm Wishes from my garden!
