Bird Watching

Lake De Gray is a beautiful place to visit in Arkansas even in winter January 30th - Febuary 1st is the 30th Annual Eagle Festival they offer Eagle watching lake tours and other birds of prey.

I went to the eye doctor today since I haven't been in a few years and my eyesight has been a little fuzzy well to be almost 49 she said my vision was pretty good, I have been wearing readers from walmart but I always have a hard time keeping up with them so I decided to try contacts having some frustration getting them in and out and things are a little blurry but she said my brain and eyes should figure it out in a few days, thank goodness its the week-end. I'm sorry if anythings not spelled right because my vision is really strange right now. Last night I went to a pampered chef party and had some really good food and bought a few gadgets for my kitchen and picked up a few new recipes have a wonderful day....Barb

My artistic daughter Lauren helping her boss shoot a wedding, he is helping her learn more about photography and inspiring her creativity, as a budding photographer and she is also doing hair and make-up packages. I hope she never loses her zest for life and creating art and I hope I inspired her somewhat with my love of art....Barb

This is crazy

This is showing the temp here last week without the wind chill and today my car showed 60 degrees when I was out running errands, it was so much easier to run errands today than last friday. I have been painting on one of our spare bedrooms at night when I get off work I still have have a few walls to do. Jace and I just made pizza (kinda messy with a 3 year old) and I bought the candy land game today and that's quite interesting because he wants to pretend the gingerbread boys are doing karate. Never a dull moment when he's around, have you all have a wonderful week-end....Barb

Thinking warm!

Not much going on here this week, it has been really cold and the wind is bitterly cold. So it's been to work and home pretty much this week and staying indoors and wishing I was in the Caymen Islands were I took this picture in 2008....Barb

Back to reality...

Wow I can't believe the holidays are over and it's 2010. I've spent the last 4 days packing up christmas decor and cleaning. All my christmas decor boxes are sitting in the garage waiting to go back to the attic it's been a very cold week-end and my husband's been working so hopefully we will get that done in the next few days. We had a few snow flurries in my part of the state today so I'm still hoping for some snow, I have to go back to work tomorrow after 5 days off and I am so not ready. Also I have been lazy working out the past month and eating too many christmas cookies so back to the treadmill and reality. I also am getting ready to paint our office/guest bedroom and work on a few other projects around the house, and of course I had to include a pic of my little man being silly....Barb
